Fishing charters

Reel Tight Fishing Charters offers half-day and full-day charters off the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Half-day charters are 5 hours; full day charters are 8 to 10 hours.

Charters can be booked for up to four people aboard our state-of-the-art fishing charter boat, the Jenny Lee.

Our charters will take you up to 30 miles out into the Pacific Ocean west of Vancouver Island.

In this dramatically beautiful, pristine wilderness, you'll share the sky with bald eagles and the sea with whales and seals.

We offer charters year-round. In the spring, summer and early fall, we offer both fishing charters for both salmon and halibut. In the winter we offer prawning and crabbing charters and fish for feeder spring salmon.

We are also able to offer you accommodation, including meals, in the charming seaside community of Bamfield for only $135 per person per night. We can also arrange special rates for accommodation in Port Alberni.

A side benefit of all our charters is the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of western Vancouver Island. You can see bald eagles, whales, seals and even the occasional black bear patrolling a rocky shore.

RATES

Rates are:

• $700: Fish Barkley Sound and offshore banks, weather dependent. The charter can accommodate up to four fishermen.


• $400: Fish inner Barkley Sound and the Alberni Canal. The charter can accommodate up to four fisherman.

Reservations are strongly recommended. The best dates fill up quickly, especially during the prime fishing season, so please reserve early to avoid disappointment.
